Dieting usually takes a back seat to almost anything else in our daily lives. For those of us in a typical working grind five or six days a week eat on the run once or twice a day. Finding healthy food for lunch when on a work break is difficult, since most fast food restaurants offer a variety of fried foods or foods with fattening sauces.

Then there is breakfast and dinner. How many of us skip at least one of those two meals thinking that will lend support to the weight loss program? That is another issue with weight loss because simply eating is important to our health. Skipping meals is actually not part of a healthy diet.

While weightloss may be your main goal, regularly consuming meals is critical to your health. And, eating foods with protein should be a goal for each meal. Your body and diet will benefit from protein intakebecause protein helps muscle growth and assists in a healthy digestive system. The combination of muscle helping burn fat along with proper digestion means your body gains nutrients and eliminates waste quicker.

Dieters are best served eating smaller healthy meals rather than simply skipping meals. For greater success of weight loss, eat healthy foods with protein while dieting.
